Alexis R. Singletary
Principal
Alexis R. Singletary graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University School of Law and has been practicing law for over 20 years. A life-long south King County resident, Alexis started Singletary Law Office, PLLC in June 2007 to serve the community in which she lives to promote a stronger, more fulfilling quality of life for her family, friends and clients. Her law practice focuses on estate planning, including Wills and Trusts, Health Care Directives, and Durable Powers of Attorney, as well as Probate and Estate Administration matters. Alexis is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Association, and the South King County Bar Association.
Alexis has volunteered hundreds of hours serving her community, including offering free estate planning seminars at local senior centers, serving on the Auburn Valley Humane Society Board of Directors for over 10 years (currently serving as Board Chair), and the AVHS Foundation Board as Vice Chair for over 5 years. Alexis previously volunteered with the King County Guardianship and Elder Law Board as South Vice Chair for 5 years.
The Singletary family has an Auburn Adopt-a-Street litter clean-up road and Alexis and her family volunteer regularly at the Auburn Valley Humane Society shelter providing animal enrichment services such as fostering over 70 cats and kittens (so far!), cleaning animal cages, and even folding the piles of laundry.
Alexis brings community involvement, dedicated service, and personal planning to her clients, tailored for their particular needs.
Christine Kilcup
Legal Assistant
Christine joined the firm in November 2023. Christine graduated from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and she makes sure that Singletary Law Office runs smoothly. Christine manages all types of client matters and assists with our clients’ estate planning and probate needs.
